How to dispose of unwanted items in a roll-off dumpster?

The best and easiest way to dispose of anything you don’t need is to toss it over the top of the roll-off dumpster. Whether it is waste left over from a demolition project, old gardening furniture, or scrap from a yard clean-up project, just about anything can quickly go into even our smallest dumpster. The only thing we don’t allow is hazardous waste and medical waste disposal in our dumpsters. Feel free to call if you are not sure if something can be discarded in our dumpsters.

What factors influence the rental of a roll-off dumpster?

At Mega Disposal Services, we deliver dumpsters across Toledo. Since Toledo isn’t a particularly large city, we deliver to homes and businesses on the outskirts and the inner city. That said, you can always call us to find out if we will deliver to your area. Usually, the rental will depend on factors like the proximity of the landfill near where you live and your distance from the main city. The prices we quote will often include taxes and landfill fees, which again vary.

How to dispose of large items in the dumpster?

While large items too need to be tossed over the top, some items may arguably not fit. For instance, if you have hired a 10-yard dumpster and would like to dispose of a 20 seater dining table, it may not all fit into the roll-off dumpster. In which case, it will have to be broken. You will also want to make sure that nothing is hanging over the sides of the dumpster or sticking out.

How long can I rent a dumpster for?

Generally for as long as you need. However, you can keep one for up to 14 days. We will charge you a daily fee if you need a dumpster for longer than the initially committed period.

Can I hire multiple sizes?

You can hire a dumpster in varying sizes. For instance, you can hire our 10-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, and 40-yard dumpsters all at the same time. You can then schedule these to be picked up as soon as they have been filled.

When do you normally pick up a dumpster?

We will pick up the dumpster whenever you need us to. We do not intrude on clients by asking them to prepare the dumpster for us to pick up. Instead, we rely on our clients to call us when the dumpster is full and tell us when they want it picked up.

Can you pick up a dumpster on the same day you deliver?

We can pick up the dumpster on the same day that we deliver. However, you need to call us a few hours prior to getting the dumpster picked up. Plus, let us know that you need the dumpster picked up on the same day when ordering.
